tree of life day one

our project is inspired by "tree of life"  by gustav Klimt 1909 

Materials:
easel and canvas
sample artwork
white & black paints (quarter sized max.- a dab will do!)
paints *see note below
large flat brush (day 1)
red flat brush and orange handled round brush (days 2 & 3)
scrap paper (heavy works better)
palette paper
clip boards
junkie towels (to clean off brushes between colors)
masking tape
marker (to label canvas back with names)
​white pencils (day two)
Q tips (day three)

staff tips*:
The color combinations that I have in my samples are chosen to offer a nice amount of contrast between the background and the leaves; please emphasize this when the peeps pick their colors.  for ease of choice you may want to offer the choices as a set of three (instead of allowing the artists to choose three random colors).
