Power Within is an art collection created by Julie Mader focused on cancer-fighting plants.  The images in this note card set are the result of the artist digitally altering an image of "Taxel in the Backyard" an acrylic painting recognizing the English Yew.  The English Yew provides a plant alkaloid used in chemotherapy medicine to aid in the battle against breast, lung, stomach, and prostate cancers as well as locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck.

The Power Within artwork collection was created to honor the strength required of the patient, the medical team and those who love and support both sides in the fight against cancer and developed by Julie Mader with a goal to raise awareness of the role that nature plays in the battle.  You can learn more about Power Within HERE.
