Using a glue stick cover the entire cardboard support with blue waves. Once finished, turn over the cardboard and trim away any excess magazine pieces hanging past the edge. ![]()

Fold your drawing paper in half lengthwise and using a pencil follow the steps (in the video and the handout) to create your sea turtle stencil. |

I added a second layer of green using the stencil. If your paint isn't covering the magazine strips add a smidgin' of white to your color. This will make your color opaque and your image will become more "solid". |
