scribble critter

Your pencil lines guide the project
and your imagination can have a bit of fun!

materials:
heavy drawing paper
pencil
scissors
glue stick
colored pencils or crayons
black marker
Picture
Step One:  Make a flowing line across your paper allowing it to loop over itself, twisting and turning into a tangle of shapes.

Step Two:  Take a good look at your lines and find find an animal shape made up of the tangled sections.  With a heavy marker, outline the animal you found within.  Color it in, then cut it out following your outline.

Step Three:  Think about where your critter lives, what does it eat?  On a sheet of drawing paper, create an environment for your critter.  I decided my fellow had orange grass instead of green in his world.
When your background is complete, glue your Fantastic Beast into its new home.
