together, during the 2021 art residency "remarkable women" we will investigate the contributions of 39 women who have made an impact on american history and who have inspired generations to pursue their dreams.

chef, author, cooking teacher
Julia Child born in 1912 brought French Cooking into American homes.  She believed that doing anything well requires hard work. Proving its not to late to learn something new, Julia followed her passion learned a new language at 36 and enrolled in cooking school at the age of 37.

plate up the pie!

Materials:
canvas covered plate
assorted acrylic paints
assorted size brushes
water and rag for cleaning paint brushes
aprons for peeps
palette paper/clips boards
matt medium (as needed)
After your dessert plate is finished add painted embellishments to your soak-stained cup and saucer as well for a matching set - the glue does not need to be dry before you paint on it.
