perspective  drawing deep in space

STEP INTO SPACE

Step 1.  Draw your HORIZON LINE (HL),  anywhere on the paper, however closer to the middle will work best for this project.
Next draw a back wall of your room using only horizontal and vertical lines, making certain that part of the wall
               overlaps the horizon line.

Keep the wall small (3 1/2" tall x 3" wide - or a similar size)  so that the entire room will fit on the page.  Add an opening going all the way to the bottom of the wall.

Step 2.  Add a VANISHING POINT (VP) anywhere inside the room along the back wall on the horizon line.  The VP will
represent the viewer's point of view.  From the VP draw lines outward through the corners of the back wall to the
edges of your paper.   Next erase your horizon line but KEEP your vanishing point.

Step 3.   Draw openings in your walls that will lead out into space.
Then decorate your Space Station as you wish - use the vanishing point to create a rug on the floor or a tile pattern
                to liven up your room.
