American symbols
MATERIALS NEEDED:
  • watercolor paper (one per student)
  • water erasable markers
  • black fine point Sharpie marker 
  • watercolor paint set (one per student)
  • pipettes (one per student)
  • assortment of medium to large sized watercolor brushes (share across class)
  • access to a bowl or container for water (one per student)
  • paper toweling or access to a "terp" for each student
  • blowdryers (to be used by staff)
  • scissors
  • Themed calendars of landscape images.
  • Printed worksheet
