MATERIALS NEEDED:

liquid watercolors
brushes
watercolor paper
​scissors
collage board
​specialty papers
glue
salt
patience

We will use Brusho watercolors to paint lily pads for our flowers to rest on.

Secure the EIGHT Large prepared petals onto the 4" sticky circle. 
Keep them away from the center of the circle as shown in the photos.

​Begin with two petals across from each other then add another 2 petals. 
​Fill in the open spaces with the last four large petals.

Repeat the process with the medium sized petals, again keeping the center 1 1/2"  of the circle open/clear.

In the same manner, secure the small petals to the 1 1/2" sticky collage circle.  Keep the center clear for the flower stamen.
​Glue the small circle into the open space of the large paper lily.

Fill the entire back of the paper with a HUGE lily pad outline.

BE SURE TO SIGN YOUR NAME
(within the shape)

Cut out the lily pad and secure your flower to the pad with glue. 

FINAL step!
Select a piece of yellow specialty paper.
Fold the paper in half lengthwise.

Holding the folded side in your hand - cut the opposite edge into fringe, stopping about 3/4" from the fold.

Lay the paper down and roll it up tightly (like a cinnamon bun) and secure the end with glue.

Hold the stamen roll until the glue seems to be holding the paper well.
Secure the stamen into the center of your lily.
