2021 LONG TERM ART EDUCATION RESIDENCY

together, during the 2021 art residency "remarkable women" we will investigate the contributions of 39 women who have made an impact on american history and who have inspired generations to pursue their dreams.

ELEANOR ROOSEVELT

Eleanor Roosevelt was the longest-serving First Lady, given that FDR was elected president four times before the two-term limit was passed.  Eleanor became an active public figure, expanding upon a role which had been largely relegated to serving as a hostess and picking out china.  
While preparing for this class, I was delighted to discover that September 1941- April 1942 Eleanor had a radio talk show titled "Over our Coffee Cups"
                                    - how perfect is that!?
